Charlie is described by his Foster Parents as a Big Baby! He was declawed by his previous owners who abandoned him as he was found living outside, injured, in East Vancouver July 2007. He is a large, handsome, gentle, healthy 9 year old male cat.
He gets along with other cats. He is currently fostered in a home with a 3 month kitten, a 1 year and a 14 year old cat. He plays, chases and wrestles with the two young ones. When the wrestling looks a bit rough. his Foster calls out, "Charlie, gentle, gentle". He stops and looks and he understands gentle, and he knows his new name Charlie. He does try to play with the older cat he lives with, She hisses and he does back down.
Even though he is a large cat, Charlie is incapable of hurting others- partially because he is declawed and mostly because he is a gentle giant that appreciates everything VOKRA volunteers have done for him.
Any other cats in his new home will have to be friendly, non-aggressive cats that like to play as Charlie loves to play. He will do best in a loving home with other cats and a warm family.
