Lady Gaga (aka Lady Gadiva) doesn’t appear to have much use for other cats. She lives up on her perch at her foster home and comes down to eat and to get human attention. When she walks, she walks like a lady and is even dainty when she eats. When she wants attention she jumps down from her perch and will stay there for a long time purring while she receives her pets. She will look at you as if to say, “Why did you stop?” when you stop petting her. She is like a sponge for attention. If her foster mom is on the other side of the room, she will cross the room and jump up next to her. She loves to lie in the sun and get attention.
Her fur is very soft and she is very loving. She purrs, and kneads the blanket while getting her scratches. Her body is so relaxed, and although Lady Gaga was humanely trapped from the streets, we feel she was domesticated at one point. She will snarl at other cats who try to get her tuna or her attention. If you try to go up to her perch and pet her and she isn’t in the mood, she will give you a warning! She wants attention when she wants it. But its seems like that could be a lot of the time. She loves to be picked up and cuddled which is so fun to do because you can bury your face in her soft fur coat.
Lady Gaga is so funny....she sticks her feet in the water bowl before she drinks. Then she sits there and dips her feet in and out and then cleans them. She is so beautiful, soft.
Lady Gaga needs to be the only cat and the only pet in a house with no really young kids as she has boundaries that need to be respected.
