LEELOU is a very pretty tri-color short hair who is by far the shyest of three kittens (SPIKE, DWENDE and LEELOU) who came to our house in the first week of January, 2012. She remained mostly hidden for the first few days, although she popped out from behind the sink briefly for feedings. She has accepted pets and even purred a couple of times.
This morning, she started making cute chirping sounds while exploring the room. We've won her over with a string and a laser pointer, and it's clear that this girl wants to play and be loved like the kitten she is. Overall she is a very shy, sweet girl who will need a quiet home, and lots of time and patience before she is comfortable. I suspect that the wait will be worth it. She is a beautiful, sweet-tempered girl, and already after one week, we see her curiosity winning out. We have not tested her willingness to live with other pets, but she tolerated my four-year-old daughter under supervision. I recommend that she be adopted with her buddy DWENDE.
