If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate and loyal best friend with velvet fluffy fur then Kringle is the boy for you.

After Kringle’s family abandoned him he was found living with his buddy PJammies under the stairs of a church daycare. Thankfully some nice neighbors called VOKRA to come and rescue them. PJammies has since been adopted leaving Kringle by himself so now he is looking for someone to call his very own.

His confidence and strut gives him the regal air that has earned him the nickname Duke. Even from the first day of arriving at his foster home there was no cowering or hiding – he sauntered out of his carrier, stretched his back legs, yawned and lay luxuriously middle of the living room floor for a nap.

Since then he follows his fosters from room to room like a perfect gentleman being the best companion anyone could ask for. He likes to sit by their sides when they are relaxing, sleep with them at night and even occasionally gently lean on their legs when they’re standing. Never pushy or needy to get attention he just so enjoys the company of people but his ultimate favorite pastime is sitting by the window and watching the world go by. Every now and again he has a little chat to the birds and people walking by and sometimes has to sit on just his back legs to get a better look at the view.

As beautiful and majestic as Duke is you would never be able to guess his age from meeting him. He is full of life, energy and curiosity -- Start throwing a string around and he could be mistaken for a kitten!

Duke is looking for a home with adults and older children as he can get scared every now and again and needs to be with people who can understand his needs. He also needs a home that is very secure – Dukes curiosity has gotten the better of him in the past when he got out of his fosters home and went missing (VOKRA had to bring in tracking dogs to find him so we don’t want our sweet guy to go through that again).

Most of all Duke is looking for a family to be his forever and to be as loyal to him as he will be to them. Whoever that person or family is will be very luck indeed!
