Silky aka Luna is the perfect companion cat. She is a very clean, calm and loving. Luna loves to snuggle and spend time with her human friends. Unlike some cats, Luna never ignores her foster parents and loves attention. Her hobbies include grooming, cuddling, kneading blankets, licking jam off toast and watching Jeopardy. Despite her luxurious fur, Luna rarely sheds, never needs help grooming and her allergy prone foster mom has had no reaction to Luna's fur!
Luna never complains, bites or scratches (furniture or people), however she is skittish when first meeting new friends. Although Luna spent the first week in her new foster home mostly under the couch, she has now claimed the whole apartment as her own. Luna would do best in a home with kids who can allow her the time to become comfortable in her new environment before showering her with love. Luna was humanely trapped by our VOKRA staff and rescued from the streets. She can be just a little shy so she needs you to be gentle and considerate of her calm nature for the first few days. But, Luna loves attention and to play chase with plastic drinking straws, ribbons and feather wands.
This gorgeous cat with a kitten’s disposition is a gem and deserves the chance to show you all the love she has!
