Bella, as usual for mama cats, has a dramatic story in that she was flown to Vancouver from Bella Coola with her buddy (I suspect a daughter). After a very frightening trip in the cargo hold of a plane, I picked the two of them up and they spent the first week at my house in a large cage cuddled together and exhibiting fear. Once they realized that they were not in danger anymore the cage was collapsed and they settled in. Eventually the Siamese had to be relocated as Bella became more pregnant and territorial. The Siamese is doing well in her forever home.
Bella's kittens were born June 7, 2010 and she has been a stellar Mom....loves her kittens and is very attentive. Through this process she has learned to trust again and has become a lovely house cat. She craves attention and loves to be stroked. She prefers not to be picked up...I think it has to do with being moved around....and we have yet to have her sit in our laps. She will, however, sit very close to you so that you can touch her. I suspect that once the kittens are gone, she will become more and more affectionate to her owner.
She is somewhat talkative and will make her wishes known....a special treat usually! She has beautiful markings...white paws...glossy short fur and expressive eyes. She has become in a very short time a much loved family cat and truly deserves a "forever home".
Bella LOVES her babies and must go home with Dot.
