Pre-Natal, Natal, and Orphan Program: care of pregnant and nursing cats, and of orphaned kittens from birth onwards; we specialize in the care of bottle-feeding kittens who are orphaned or whose mother cannot feed them adequately
Trap-Neuter-Return Program: humane trapping of feral cats for spay/neuter then return to their colonies, with ongoing post-return feeding, monitoring and care by volunteers. We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.
Feral Cat Program: intake, care, and taming of semi-feral kittens for adoption
Rehoming Program: re-intake and placement of previously adopted VOKRA cats
Spay-neuter Assistance Program: covering the cost of spaying and neutering for low-income individuals and families
Public Education Program: publications, presence at community events, and school presentations to educate the public on (1) humane, no-kill control of cat populations through responsible spay/neuter programs; (2) other topics relevant to the care of cats and the protection of their right to live without fear, pain, hunger, disease, or other forms of suffering
Volunteer Training Program: ongoing training of our volunteers to ensure their health and safety, and the health and safety of the cats in our care, are always protected to maximum ability
